Sprites are the collectible creatures added in Chapter 7 Season 3. You find them on the map, throw them to catch them, and each one grants a boon — a passive perk that lasts while you carry it. All 12 sprites are listed below with what they do, where they spawn, how likely they are to appear, and every variant with its own drop rate.

What is the rarest sprite in Fortnite?
The Plundarrgh — it has a 0.50% spawn chance, the lowest of any sprite currently in the game (Mythic rarity). Spawn chances are read directly from the game files, so this answer updates when Epic changes the odds.

Every sprite boon
A boon is the perk a sprite gives you while it's equipped. These are the 15 in the game files, including ones attached to variants you may not have seen yet.
Baarry O'Fish
Reduces tactical sprint stamina drain when in water. Gain Slap at max level!
Plundarrgh
Opening Chest grants increased pickaxe speed and movement speed.
Compass
Reveals nearby treasure chests, treasure maps, and wanted posters
Transponder Snail
Grants extra resources on pickup, with Teammates who also have this Sprite equipped receiving some extra resources as well! Increased amount of resources received at each Level Up!
Re-Pete
Increases reload speed, with a chance that reloading refunds ammo. Reload faster and higher chance of ammo refunds with each Level Up!
Halfpeel'd
Marks eliminations on the map. Effect radius increases with each level up!
Lil' Flacko
Creates a small shockwave on landing, knocking back enemies. Increased knockback strength with each Level Up!
Lil' Uzi Vert Jr.
Generates a Chug Splash effect when restoring shields. Decreased cooldown with each Level Up!
Lil' Squibbly
Jumping into a fishing hole fishes it and gives some bonus loot. Get more loot as you level up.
Sweet Dreams
Grants a random item at each level, exploding with Mythic loot at Max Level. Loot value increases at each Level Up!
Chester
Grants a chance to spawn extra loot from Treasure Chests and nullifies fall damage. Increased chance of spawning an extra loot item with each Level Up!
Treasure Map
Spawns a Treasure Map on Sprite Mastery.
Kelper
Restores health over time when in water. Increased amount of health with each Level Up!
Cursed
Gives you a special bonus!
Fortune
Reveals nearby Chests
