FNDB.GG

About / Data sources

Where the data comes from

fndb.gg is built from four kinds of sources. Every page states which one it draws on, and nothing on the site is estimated or invented — where a number isn't knowable, the page says so instead.

Epic's public data

Cosmetics, the item shop, Festival tracks, ranked seasons, Power Rankings and server status come from Epic's public feeds and the community mirror fortnite-api.com, refreshed daily just after the shop rotates at 00:00 UTC. Competitive figures on best players are Epic's own numbers — we never adjust them.

The game files

Weapon handling — spread, recoil, damage falloff, spare ammo — exists in no public API. Pages that show it, like every weapon page, read it from the game's own data tables after each patch, and say so: "read from the game files themselves". Sprite spawn chances and drop rates come the same way.

Our own archives

Epic publishes no shop history, so fndb keeps its own: every shop day since 2026-08-05 (46 days and counting) with prices and full offer composition, merged with Epic-complete appearance dates back to 2019. The same discipline applies to Creative island metrics, which Epic retains for only two days — we snapshot daily and keep everything. Archives only grow; shop history is the visible half.

Our own calculations

Anything fndb computes is labelled as ours and explained where it appears — the FNDB Rarity Score has its own methodology page. Time-to-kill maths on the TTK calculator uses body damage only, because headshot multipliers vary per weapon and aren't published; we don't guess.

Independence and corrections

fndb.gg is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Epic Games. Fortnite and its assets are Epic's. If something on the site is wrong, the fastest fix is the contact route on the about page — data corrections ship with the next daily sync.
