Rust — common questions
When was Rust last in the item shop?
Rust has no recorded item shop day since 30 October 2017. Items from a Battle Pass, a quest or a promotion are not sold in the shop, and new items may not have been released yet.
How much does Rust cost?
We don't have a recorded price for Rust. We only know an item's price from days it has appeared in the shop while we were tracking it, and this outfit hasn't.
Can you still get Rust?
Most Fortnite cosmetics return to the item shop on rotation, but Epic doesn't publish a schedule and some items — battle pass rewards and promotional items in particular — never come back. There's no reliable way to tell in advance which category any given outfit falls into.
What set is Rust part of?
Rust is part of the Badlands Scavenger set. Items in a set are usually released together and often return to the shop together, though Epic sometimes rotates them individually.
How many styles does Rust have?
Rust has 9 styles: Rust, Corrosive Rust, Oxide Rust, Cold Fusion Rust, Neon Hazard Rust, Digital Ghost Rust. Some styles unlock through challenges rather than being available immediately.
