The Fret Basher — common questions
When was The Fret Basher last in the item shop?
The Fret Basher has no recorded item shop day since 30 October 2017. Items from a Battle Pass, a quest or a promotion are not sold in the shop, and new items may not have been released yet.
How much does The Fret Basher cost?
We don't have a recorded price for The Fret Basher. We only know an item's price from days it has appeared in the shop while we were tracking it, and this pickaxe hasn't.
Can you still get The Fret Basher?
Most Fortnite cosmetics return to the item shop on rotation, but Epic doesn't publish a schedule and some items — battle pass rewards and promotional items in particular — never come back. There's no reliable way to tell in advance which category any given pickaxe falls into.
What set is The Fret Basher part of?
The Fret Basher is part of the Escape Velocity set. Items in a set are usually released together and often return to the shop together, though Epic sometimes rotates them individually.
How many styles does The Fret Basher have?
The Fret Basher has 2 selectable styles. Some styles unlock through challenges rather than being available immediately.
