Shrapnel — common questions
When was Shrapnel last in the item shop?
Shrapnel was last seen in the Fortnite item shop on 26 June 2024. It has been in the shop on 5 days since 30 October 2017.
How much does Shrapnel cost?
We don't have a recorded price for Shrapnel. We only know an item's price from days it has appeared in the shop while we were tracking it, and this pickaxe hasn't.
Can you still get Shrapnel?
Most Fortnite cosmetics return to the item shop on rotation, but Epic doesn't publish a schedule and some items — battle pass rewards and promotional items in particular — never come back. There's no reliable way to tell in advance which category any given pickaxe falls into.
What set is Shrapnel part of?
Shrapnel is part of the Short Fuse set. Items in a set are usually released together and often return to the shop together, though Epic sometimes rotates them individually.
