Rat Tail — common questions
When was Rat Tail last in the item shop?
Rat Tail was last seen in the Fortnite item shop on 10 July 2026. It has been in the shop on 26 days since 30 October 2017.
How much does Rat Tail cost?
We don't have a recorded price for Rat Tail. We only know an item's price from days it has appeared in the shop while we were tracking it, and this pickaxe hasn't.
Can you still get Rat Tail?
Most Fortnite cosmetics return to the item shop on rotation, but Epic doesn't publish a schedule and some items — battle pass rewards and promotional items in particular — never come back. There's no reliable way to tell in advance which category any given pickaxe falls into.
What set is Rat Tail part of?
Rat Tail is part of the Ratzattak set. Items in a set are usually released together and often return to the shop together, though Epic sometimes rotates them individually.
