Prop Chop — common questions
When was Prop Chop last in the item shop?
Prop Chop was last seen in the Fortnite item shop on 6 May 2026. It has been in the shop on 4 days since 30 October 2017.
How much does Prop Chop cost?
We don't have a recorded price for Prop Chop. We only know an item's price from days it has appeared in the shop while we were tracking it, and this pickaxe hasn't.
Can you still get Prop Chop?
Most Fortnite cosmetics return to the item shop on rotation, but Epic doesn't publish a schedule and some items — battle pass rewards and promotional items in particular — never come back. There's no reliable way to tell in advance which category any given pickaxe falls into.
What set is Prop Chop part of?
Prop Chop is part of the Steel Wool set. Items in a set are usually released together and often return to the shop together, though Epic sometimes rotates them individually.
