Machete — common questions
When was Machete last in the item shop?
Machete was last seen in the Fortnite item shop on 12 July 2024. It has been in the shop on 20 days since 30 October 2017.
How much does Machete cost?
We don't have a recorded price for Machete. We only know an item's price from days it has appeared in the shop while we were tracking it, and this pickaxe hasn't.
Can you still get Machete?
Most Fortnite cosmetics return to the item shop on rotation, but Epic doesn't publish a schedule and some items — battle pass rewards and promotional items in particular — never come back. There's no reliable way to tell in advance which category any given pickaxe falls into.
What set is Machete part of?
Machete is part of the Tropic Troopers set. Items in a set are usually released together and often return to the shop together, though Epic sometimes rotates them individually.
