Pterodactyl — common questions
When was Pterodactyl last in the item shop?
Pterodactyl was last seen in the Fortnite item shop on 13 July 2026. It has been in the shop on 85 days since 30 October 2017.
How much does Pterodactyl cost?
We don't have a recorded price for Pterodactyl. We only know an item's price from days it has appeared in the shop while we were tracking it, and this glider hasn't.
Can you still get Pterodactyl?
Most Fortnite cosmetics return to the item shop on rotation, but Epic doesn't publish a schedule and some items — battle pass rewards and promotional items in particular — never come back. There's no reliable way to tell in advance which category any given glider falls into.
What set is Pterodactyl part of?
Pterodactyl is part of the Dino Guard set. Items in a set are usually released together and often return to the shop together, though Epic sometimes rotates them individually.
