Ornithopter — common questions
When was Ornithopter last in the item shop?
Ornithopter was last seen in the Fortnite item shop on 6 February 2026. It has been in the shop on 45 days since 30 October 2017.
How much does Ornithopter cost?
We don't have a recorded price for Ornithopter. We only know an item's price from days it has appeared in the shop while we were tracking it, and this glider hasn't.
Can you still get Ornithopter?
Most Fortnite cosmetics return to the item shop on rotation, but Epic doesn't publish a schedule and some items — battle pass rewards and promotional items in particular — never come back. There's no reliable way to tell in advance which category any given glider falls into.
What set is Ornithopter part of?
Ornithopter is part of the DUNE set. Items in a set are usually released together and often return to the shop together, though Epic sometimes rotates them individually.
