Merc Step

Merc Step hasn't appeared in the item shop since we began tracking it on 5 August 2026. Epic's shop feed only exposes the current day, so we can't see whether it appeared before then.

We don't have a recorded price for Merc Step. We only know an item's price from days it has appeared in the shop while we were tracking it, and this emote hasn't.

Most Fortnite cosmetics return to the item shop on rotation, but Epic doesn't publish a schedule and some items — battle pass rewards and promotional items in particular — never come back. There's no reliable way to tell in advance which category any given emote falls into.

Merc Step is part of the Mercenary Heartbreaker set. Items in a set are usually released together and often return to the shop together, though Epic sometimes rotates them individually.
